Standard Terms and conditions

▪️A minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice must be given to your instructor otherwise you will be liable for the lesson fee in respect of that lesson.

There is no minimum cancellation notice if you have symptoms, or are self isolating for 5 days due to Covid-19.

▪️We reserve the right to withdraw our car for driving tests, giving a minimum of 3 working days notice of the driving test date, so not to loose your DVSA test booking fee, should your instructor consider the pupil not to be up to test standard.

▪️All lesson fees are payable at the beginning of the lesson by cash, or alternatively can be paid via the total drive app or bank transfer (available on request) at least 24 hours before the commencement of the lesson booked.

▪️If, for any reason, a lesson needs to be rescheduled or rearranged by the driving school, then reasonable notice will be given if possible.

▪️All lessons prepaid must be used within 6 months of the date of the 1st driving lesson booked. No refund of the remaining balance will be refunded after the six months.

▪️We reserve the right to refuse a driving lesson should the driver be under the influence of alcohol or any other substances that could contravene road safety.

▪️You must advise your instructor of any health condition, or medication you use, which could impair your ability to drive. You must be able to read a number plate 20.5 meters away (with glasses or contact lenses if normally worn).  It is the pupils responsibility to notify the DVSA of any notifiable medical condition for driving. If the pupil is on medication they are responsible for making sure the medication allows them to drive.    

▪️We cannot be held responsible for driving tests postponed or cancelled by the Driving Standards Agency. If our vehicle breaks down during the driving test we cannot be held responsible, as any mechanical breakdowns are beyond our control. However we will refund the charge for our car hire, and the driving test DVSA booking fee paid.

▪️In the event of a mechanical breakdown of the vehicle in which you have been learning to drive, the instructor reserves the right to rearrange a driving lesson to a time convenient to both you and the instructor with no charge to the pupil.

▪️In the event that the pupil is unable to continue taking lessons pre booked at a discount, lessons already taken will be charged at the full rate and the balance refunded.

▪️Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue, and are non refundable and non transferable.

▪️There is an in car dash camera in the driving school car used for your driving lessons. This is forward facing at the front of the car recording the road ahead when stationary and moving.

▪️In the event of adverse weather conditions on the day of your driving lesson. The instructor reserves the right to rearrange  the lesson to a time convenient to both you and the instructor with no charge to the pupil.

Privacy policy/Data Protection

Any personal details you provide in order to have lessons: (name, address, date of birth, contact details, driving licence details etc) will only be used in relation to providing you with your lessons, and to fulfill legal requirements in respect of running a business. Your details will not be passed on to third parties for any other purpose, including marketing or advertising without your permission.

Complains procedure

We hope you are satisfied with the service of driving lessons with us. If how ever you would like to raise a complaint please email addressed to Amanda Robinson.  We Hope to respond to any complaints within 3 weeks of receiving the initial email.
